Amalgamated Salt Works - The Salt Union Smithy, Waggon Shops at Winsford.
The man in the centre of this photo is William Oakes (Pop), blacksmith's striker - with the blacksmith to the left of him. Behind William's head is one of the railway waggons that were presumably produced here to carry the company's salt. Also, note the horse shoes bottom left.
